How do you keep the water out the emblem

Hi. Our emblem has an IP67 waterproof rating. That said, we recommend that you avoid directing a high‑pressure water jet directly at the emblem when washing your car, as the intense force could potentially affect the seal. Normal rain or regular car washing will not cause any issues.

To be completely honest with you: this emblem light does require a minor grille adjustment for a proper fit on the 2017 CTS. However, we want to stress that you do NOT need to remove the entire bumper. The video we linked show the full installation for other models, but for your CTS, only a small trim on the grille area is needed – not a bumper removal.
